Had some downtime, so I googled “Not All Men”. Side order of meme salad with your Sunday lunch?
Male violence goes under-reported. Crimes of violence by trans-identified males – a rising subset – passes almost totally unremarked. In many cases, discussions are shut down with startling force. We wonder why this is, and offer a Rogues’ Gallery to help counter the false claim that transgender violence “never happens”.
Jeremy Corbyn’s ‘advancement’ in trans rights would grant legal status as a woman (or man) to anyone who says they are. He’s misinformed about current gender ID law in the UK – and woefully ignorant of the repercussions for women and children. He can’t promote both self-ID and women’s rights, the two are mutually exclusive.
FPFW‘s Rogues Gallery will be an occasional series; lest we forget. The issue is male violence, not “violence in general”. Women aren’t violent like men are. We have less violence here in the UK than some other countries, but this doesn’t mean we should accept male abuse that British women suffer.
Just some feminist memes from Fair Play For Women 🙂
Snapshot of the top posts from the Facebook group, This Never Happens. It’s run as a public service by members who are concerned about repeated insistence that transgendered people are “never” violent and couldn’t possibly pose any threat to women. In fact, rather a high proportion of such people –
Magi Gibson’s beautiful poem for International Women’s Day, “Under the Silken Sky” evokes the tender magic of a young couple’s first moments with their just-born baby daughter – and the bitter tragedy of female infanticide. This might make you cry.

Only about one in five trans people undergo ‘sex reassignment’ surgery. Less than 75% of transgender ‘women’ have a functioning penis. Tara Hudson, the “beautician” who supposedly lived her entire life as a woman, neglected to mention his real profession as a ‘she-male’ (his word) prostitute and sex performer, or that he refers to himself as a bloke. Although he’s a very violent male, Hudson served his time in a prison full of women.
To the Trustees of the Working Class Movement Library: Thank you for standing up against the online mob for the right of a working class lesbian activist to be heard. It is clear that, conscious or otherwise, lesbophobia, ageism and sexism simmer beneath the demands to silence Julie Bindel, a prominent campaigner for the rights of women and girls. Fighting individualistic identity politics is crucial to class struggle and analysis. As feminists we stand with you.
Created by parents struggling to help their gender-questioning children, Mermaids Transgender was a support group. Now it’s a registered charity, receiving large grants and consulted by the UK Government, the NHS and others. And is still a group of blinkered evangelists. Despite their elevated status, Mermaids have shown themselves incapable of handling facts or seeing wider contexts. Our distressed young people need support, not sterilisation. We explain.
